A Worthing teenager has been arrested after a stabbing at Shoreham Railway Station on Friday (June 26).

British Transport Police officers were called to reports of a man having been stabbed at the station shortly after 11.30pm on Friday.

He suffered stab wounds to the leg, according to a BTP spokesman, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries were described as not life-threatening by the spokesman.

A 16-year-old teenager was arrested today (June 29) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, the spokesman said, and he remains in police custody.
